Looking for a new inverter

My old Fronius IG 5100 inverter inverter is out of warranty, so i'm looking for recommendations on a replacement. My 6kw array of 30 Kyocera 200GT panels usually tops out around 3,900-4,100W, and i'm wondering what inverter would be the best fit for this setup.

Fronius, SMA, or SolarEdge are all solid options—just make sure the MPPT voltage range matches your panels so you don't clip too early.
A 4 5 kW inverter should do it for you. Fronius, SMA, or SolarEdge are all very good options

Good question. From what I’ve seen over the years, SMA and Fronius tend to edge out on long-term reliability, while SolarEdge is great if you want panel-level monitoring. How old is the rest of the system and are you planning to keep it as-is for a while?

I have Outback Power Systems equipment in my home. Been in use since late 1995 & early 1996. Zero failures. They may not be cheap but they are one of the best in my opinion. They have replaceable modules which is what attracted me to them originally. If something fails, you can slide a board out, replace it and you're back up and running. I've never had to swap any yet. 30 years reliability is pretty good in my book. For smaller systems, Victron is Great too!
